Are you looking for a free PCB file viewer that can take all EDA file formats and present them in a tool accessible to every member of the production process? Electrical and mechanical engineers, procurement professionals, manufacturers, and other stakeholders often need to view obscure engineering software formats in a variety of environments. Altium’s PCB viewer lets them view design files normally accessible only in expensive EDA software.

Our online PCB viewer supports multiple PCB file formats. You can view schematics, PCB designs, 3D renders, and BOMs, cross-probing between each in an intuitive web-based interface. Altium’s online PCB viewer helps distributed electronic development teams to collaborate, share designs, and accelerate PCB design and manufacturing. Get your electronic design projects into production faster with Altium’s free PCB Viewer.

How to Open PCB File Types with Altium’s PCB Viewer

Altium's PCB file viewer offers the best option for accessing PCB layouts in multiple EDA file formats. This browser-based viewer supports all major output files, including schematics, layouts, and manufacturing data. PCB designers can use any device with a web browser to access complete design content for their printed circuit assemblies without installing software.

Altium's free PCB File Viewer supports multiple file formats, including ODB++, IPC-2581, Gerber X2 and X, and IPC-D-356. The viewer displays STEP files for 3D mechanical renderings of circuit assemblies and processes BOM reports from XML or Excel files. It eliminates the need to access multiple software platforms or systems you don't typically use.

Altium’s PCB File Viewer Enables a Seamless Review Process

Imagine revisiting PCB design software and viewing EDA drawings generated in real-time. Altium’s PCB Viewer allows this type of use by your entire team with the following best-practice features.
