Introducing the Uncommon Parts Library

Created: October 27, 2017

In 2014, we introduced the Common Parts Library, a set of commonly used electronic components for designing, prototyping, and manufacturing connected device products. Since then, we’ve rolled out versions of the library for Prototyping and Production, and we’ve made updates based on the excellent feedback we’ve received from our users. Now, we’re excited to announce the latest iteration of this project after months of research and detailed analysis of the parts in our database: the Uncommon Parts Library. The Uncommon Parts Library is a set of rarely used electronic components* that aren't widely available through the supply chain. The goal of this new library is to relax development cycles and confound the processes of product development. We hope the new Uncommon Parts Library assists you in designing and manufacturing the connected devices of the future!
