Wow, last week was a busy week. We've got a few updates for you all.

We're happy to announce that Mouser is now listing their parts on Octopart! We've received tons of requests over the years to add Mouser so we're thrilled to have them on board. They stock a wide range of products that you can get your hands on quickly. With Mouser, we've rounded out the list of highly requested US distributors.

We crossed a big user milestone too. We're seeing over 500,000 unique monthly users on Octopart. The timing was perfect as we got a nice writeup in TechCrunch.

Lastly and most excitingly, we've made our first hire. Bryan Newbold joined our team last Wednesday. He most recently comes from Leaf Labs where he was the lead developer. He has lots of experience searching for and sourcing electronic parts for robotics and astrophysics experiments. Before Leaf Labs Bryan studied physics at MIT. Welcome Bryan!
