The last eight years with Keysight Technologies included leadership at an executive vice-president level, managing global businesses, and leading digital transformation activities. The businesses included global teams of engineers and professionals that researched, developed, product managed and gave oversight for the manufacturing, marketing, and sustainment of nearly $800 million annual revenue for precision test& measurement equipment: digital multi-meters, frequency counters, USB-based instruments, data acquisition (DAQ) solutions, PXI modules; programmable power products that include a wide variety of programmable DC and AC power supplies, electronic loads and AC and DC power analyzers; precision measurement products such as high precision SMUs (Source Measurement Units), precision current analyzers and semi-conductor device analyzers; manufacturing technology products that include boundary-scan analyzers, in-circuit board test systems, and big-data analytics solutions.
The emergence of continuous software development workflows (CI/CD/CT) and usage of intelligent automation using machine learning and AI is transforming workflows and is a wellspring of new business creation. Christopher led the launch of multiple software businesses in intelligent automation, big-data analytics, and intelligent software test. The latter included the acquisition and integration of the Eggplant business in 2020.
Christopher’s tenure included a decade of experience leading engineering teams in electronics manufacturing, global strategic procurement, and overseeing various contract manufacturing and component and material vendors. His participation in leading manufacturing test equipment businesses and working in the electronics supply chain provides deep insights into opportunities and challenges in the electronics supply chain, ranging from raw materials to complex integrated circuits and printed-circuit-board assemblies.
