Leigh Gawne

As Chief Technology Officer, Leigh is responsible for driving product and technology developments across the electronic design, manufacturing and supply chain domains as part of Altium’s vision to transform the electronics industry. Leigh leads the development of the company’s cloud platform Altium 365 and is actively engaged with strategic technology partnerships, working closely with the CEO. Leigh is also head of engineering for Octopart.

Leigh joined Altium in 2015 as part of the acquisition of Ciiva, a company that he co-founded. Leigh has 20 years of experience in systems, software and hardware engineering. He was Chief Technology Officer at Toradex AG, a market leading Swiss based embedded computing company for many years. Leigh holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering, first class, from The University of Manchester, in the United Kingdom.
