What is the Student Ambassador Program?
The Student Ambassador Program is an initiative by Altium to empower students who are passionate about technology, leadership, and community building. Ambassadors act as a bridge between Altium and their universities, helping spread awareness and engagement.
Who can apply to become a Student Ambassador?
Any student currently enrolled in a recognized university or college, with strong communication skills and enthusiasm for technology and outreach, is eligible to apply.
How are Student Ambassadors selected?
There is a set process followed by Altium’s internal team. Applicants go through multiple shortlisting steps, and only upon clearing each stage are they selected as Student Ambassadors.
What responsibilities will a Student Ambassador have?
Ambassadors represent Altium at their institutions, organize workshops or events, share program updates, and encourage student participation in Altium initiatives.
How long does the ambassadorship last?
The duration typically aligns with the academic year, but exact timelines may vary depending on program cycles and university schedules.
Is there ongoing support and training?
Yes. Altium provides continuous support to ensure ambassadors succeed in their role. Ambassadors will be a part of a dedicated Discord community, where they can connect with peers, share ideas, and receive guidance from the internal team. In addition, monthly meetings are organized to provide updates, training sessions, and opportunities to learn best practices directly from program coordinators.
Do I receive any commission through this program?
No. The Student Ambassador Program is a voluntary initiative. Ambassadors do not receive commission or monetary compensation.
