Common Parts Library Symbols and Footprints by SnapEDA

We're excited to announce a project that will certainly get the attention of designers using the Common Parts Library: SnapEDA has generated symbol and footprint libraries for parts in the Common Parts Library under the Creative Commons CC BY-SA license.

This means that it is now much easier to get started designing hardware using parts in the Common Parts Library. The symbols and footprints are there, ready to go into your choice of Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, or OrCAD.

SnapEDA's service allows users to share symbol and footprint data in a single format, eliminating the wasted effort of having to recreate these files over and over for different EDA tools. Symbols and footprints can be exported to EDA tool specific formats from their single format.
