How to Create a Project Template

This video demonstrates how to create a project template in two ways using the Explorer Panel and the File Menu in Altium Designer. Each process shows users how to save the project template, schematic, PCB Document, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to the server.

Agenda

Create a project template in the File Menu - save a project as a template on the server and note the location.

Name and description - create a name and description for the template.

View the template - open the template, including the schematic PCB, and Bill of Materials (BOM) in Altium 365.

Create a template in the Explorer Panel- add a template under the project templates, give it a name, and a description.

Add files - add any specific files to the template including the schematic, PCB document, and Bill of Materials (BOM) and save them to the server.
