Altium Designer 22.7 gives users productivity during schematic capture with the newest productivity upgrades in the schematic editor. This month’s announcement focuses on new schematic capture upgrades:

Control of Paste Mask Output for Variants - Users can now control Paste Mask outputs for a variant as part of that variant’s definition. When enabled, the paste mask for that variant is shown in the 2D/3D view of the board, generated outputs (Gerber, ODB++, etc), and Draftsman.

Change Layer for Tuning Objects - This is a favorite user idea that makes a welcome appearance in this latest release. You can now change the layer for a length tuning object through the Properties panel using its new Layer property.

Auto-assignment of Simulation Models - Simulation models can be auto-assigned if the Simulation Dashboard detects a component with a missing model. You can also choose from where auto-assigned models are sourced.
Upgrade your AD22 to the newest version to take advantage of these upgrades and much more. To access the upgrade, navigate to the Updates page from the Extensions and Updates window. Upgrade today to get access to the newest productivity features in Altium Designer.
