Pervasive Engineering Simulation: The Pulse of the Healthcare Industry

Table of Contents

Pervasive engineering simulation and consolidated engineering simulation platforms accelerate more innovative healthcare and render more effective, high-quality designs. By focusing specifically on the healthcare industry, it is demonstrated how simulation-driven design reduces costs and increases the ability of engineers to successfully meet product targets such as quality and launch date.

Key findings include:

  1. 69% of platform-based simulation users meet their target product launch date, compared to 63% of non-simulation users.

  2. 67% of platform-based simulation users meet their target product cost, compared to 59% of non-simulation users.

  3. Best-in-Class organizations are 50% more likely than all others to see a decrease in Simulation total cost of ownership (TCO) in the past 12 months.

  4. Best-in-Class platform-based simulation users are 24% more likely to meet product launch dates and 37% more likely to decrease the length of development time than all others.
