The Spectra Electronic Design to Delivery Index (EDDI) is designed to function as a finger on the pulse of the electronics industry. By providing data on the electronic assembly realization process - from PCB design to sourcing and delivery - the EDDI gives analysts and professionals a broad view of electronics industry activity.

Insights from this month:

  • The Industry Supply Index repor ted a decline of 2 points (-1.1%), totaling 167 points this month. This represents a marginal deceleration in the recent upward trend obser ved in the supply index.
  • Integrated circuits remain at it’s highest supply level of 202 points, an increase of 33 points (19.5%) since July 2023.
  • The Industry Demand Index had a net rise of 2 points, representing a growth of 1.5%, resulting in a cumulative total of 136 points. This is the first month of incline since October 2023.
  • The most significant subcategory index increase was reported in Discrete Semiconductors at 10 points (6.4%) totaling 166 points. The subcategory has grown for 3 consecutive months starting, in October 2023.
