Toggle Visibility of Layers and Objects in Altium 365

Summary:

This video demonstrates the process to toggle layers on and off in a project.  Begin by clicking in the PCB tab and click on the Layers and Objects Button.  Users can select only the top layer, or all layers, and turn on and off layer visibility as desired.  

Similarly, objects can also be turned on and off by toggling them as desired.  This makes for quick and easy layer and object visualization in a project.

In this video, I'll show you how you can toggle layers on and off. We'll open up the project.

In the PCB tab, and click on it and it will show the PCB board under the Layers and Objects Button. If you click on it, it will show all the layers that are in the PCB, and you can select them and only show the top layer, if you would like. You click it again, it will show all layers and you can turn on and off visibility using the icon.

They're all turned off. And now if I want to turn those back on you just select them again.

This makes it very easy to visualize layers very quickly. Also, you can show the bottom view.

In addition we have the objects you can turn on and off. You can see we have arcs, pads, vias, tracks, text, fills, polygons, regions, 3D bodies, keep outs and connection lines. Any one of those can be toggled on or off.
