In this video, I'll show how you can enable parameters when placing a component. First I'll go into the Explorer Panel and go to the components. I'll just choose the capacitors folder and I'm going to right click and choose the properties. Here you'll notice on the right hand side I can go ahead and configure parameters "Visibility on Add." And you'll see the whole list of parameters.
00:00:30:22 - 00:01:05:24
In order to enable any parameter in the list, I just use the checkbox and click okay. In my case, I'll use the "PackageCase" parameter. I'm going to do a quick refresh and then go ahead and choose any one of the components from within the capacitors folder, and go ahead and place it. And now you'll see that I have that package or case size for this particular capacitor.
00:01:05:26 - 00:01:13:10
And you'll see in the Properties Panel as well it views that value. Thank you for watching.
