PCB Design conference about Altium Live a new annual event for PCB Designers

Rarely does a PCB design conference come along that is focused wholly on training content designed to make YOU a more knowledgeable and effective designer. That’s why Altium decided to create one--fully centered on designers...and presented by expert PCB designers.

This Fall,  AltiumLive 2017: Annual PCB Design Summit is coming to North America and Europe. We will host a 2-day PCB design conference like no other. You will hear from industry luminaries such as Lee Ritchey, Happy Holden and Dan Beeker of NXP. You will also learn from expert designers from iconic companies.

Perhaps best of all, you will hear from your peers and fellow Altium Designer® users about how they have discovered innovative design methods and practices to help you take your design career to the next level. Furthermore, we have five in-depth professional development courses featuring best design practices in some of the most challenging and problematic areas for professional designers:

  • Effective Methods for Advanced Routing

  • Conquering Multi-Board Design Challenges to Create Next-Generation Electronics

  • Creating Documentation for Successful PCB Manufacturing

  • Adopting Early Analysis of Your Power Delivery Network

  • Introduction to PCB Design with Altium Designer 18

The San Diego event will be held on October 3-4 at the beautiful Hilton Resort and Spa, which overlooks Mission Bay. We will provide delicious meals including lunches by the bay, and a casual cocktail reception and dinner at the conclusion of day one. We will also host a fun and exciting team robot build and competition for all attendees. After the competition, the robots will be donated to underserved kids in STEM programs to inspire the next generation of engineers.

The same core training courses will be offered in Munich, Germany, yet with different keynote and user presentations, on October 24-25 at the Westin Grand hotel. Munich is one of the most culturally rich and architecturally beautiful cities in the world. Though Oktoberfest will be over, there will be plenty of opportunities to visit the famous Hofbrauhaus, one of Germany’s oldest breweries, and stroll, shop or dine on Munich’s scenic streets.

In addition to all the exceptional content, a small expo area will be available during lunch and breakfast to explore the technology, services and products of our friends, partners and sponsors.

Of course, we are also looking forward to unveiling Altium Designer 18 and Altium NEXUS®, our new product for collaborative PCB design teams, that we will launch at these events.

In all, it will be a conference you won’t want to miss, and we invite you to be our guest and enjoy all we have planned for you. The cost is $295 USD and registration is now open on our website. Space is limited, so register early.

We look forward to seeing you in San Diego or Munich!
