Admin-Data Cleanup

Summary: 

This short video demonstrates how to delete items from the platform.  To begin, navigate to the Admin Section, and then Bulk and Data Cleanup under Settings, to delete the data.  However, it is worth noting that this operation cannot be undone, it may take a while to complete, and will create a workspace snapshot prior to removing the items.  

Users are able to select specific items for deletion or delete all of the items, once the projects and components are removed. In order to batch delete items, a confirmation is also required.

In this video, I'll show you how to delete items from the platform. Under the Admin, Settings, Bulk and Data Cleanup, you will see the option to delete data. It's important to note that the removal operation can't be undone, and a snapshot of the workspace will be created prior to removal. The operation could take a while depending on how much data is involved.

You can see here there is a list of items that you can delete. They can be either all deleted or specific items just by checking or unchecking the box. You'll notice also under the components, there's a pop up menu informing you that components that are used in designs can't be deleted until the projects are removed, or the manage sheet.

The same holds true for component templates, so they can't be deleted until you delete the components themselves, prior to deleting the component template.

You will need to confirm by typing in delete my data permanently. This will allow you to delete items in a batch manner from the platform. Thank you for watching.
