Once changes are made, users are instructed to log out and log back into the workspace to view those changes. Afterwards, the workspace name is changed to eliminate confusion between multiple workspaces. Read Article

To do so, expand the components folder, and select a folder within it. Next, right click and select properties. In the properties dialog box, select the share link, and alter the permissions for users via the drop down option. To add a role, type it in. Any permissions set for a folder will also apply to the children's folders within that top folder. Finally, close the dialog boxes by selecting okay twice to set the sharing permissions for a component. Read Article

Users are able to select specific items for deletion or delete all of the items, once the projects and components are removed. In order to batch delete items, a confirmation is also required. The first method begins in Altium Designer by opening a project, unlinking the git folder, turning off the synchronization, and making it available online. However, this method does not include the project history. The second method also begins in Altium Designer, within the workspace. In this method, the user manually unlinks the project in notepad by removing the managed folder. Then, a fake version control system is created using the Tortoise Git Tool. The changes are pushed to the local version control and the project is made available online and migrated to the workspace version control. Read Article

Event log entries can be searched and filtered by object type as well. In order to link this local project to an Altium 365 Workspace and integrate the resources of Altium 365 into this project, open tools and then the Item Manager. The Item Manager will scan the design and load any components within the design, showing that they are unmanaged. To relink these components located in the local library to the Altium 365 components, click auto match to match each component. If any components fail to match, users can select and navigate to the individual components and manually match them. Then, an ACL and ECO are generated, the changes are executed, and the components are updated. After this is completed, all of the components are updated to the latest revision. Configure the parameters "Visible on Add" by selecting enable for the "PackageCase" parameter and click okay. Refresh the screen and choose a component within the capacitors folder and place it. Now the case size is visible for that capacitor and the Properties Panel also displays this value. Read Article
